Compressing footage

After having shot the footage over the weekend i then on the college day came in with my footage and compressed it in order to get better quality as well as a good format that work well for Final Cut Pro.

I did this by going into Compressor and selecting my footage and placing it in and then going into 'Settings', then going into 'Other Workflows'  then going into 'Advanced Format Conversions' and then selecting 'Apple Codecs' and choosing 'Apple ProRes 422 for Progressive material (High Quality). As shown below.

Afterwards i then converted my files from the footage i wanted to use into this format where it then had a copy of all the 'ProRes' versions in the same folder, and i then went into FCP and important the folder that the ProRes versions were in.
