1980's Graphic Design Inspiration

I decided i'd look at some design work based around the 1980's so i could get a better overview of the era and the design style back then. Below is a collage of many images which are 1980 inspired that i came across.

Here above is a large range of images i found which relate to the 80's era. They are all very quirky and vivid in colours and overall appearance which help make it look unique and different. The imagery is slightly odd and strange which also helps to give it a distinctive look. A lot of the images are contrasting to give them a bolder appearance and to standout and catch peoples eye's. 80's music was very popular at the time and a few of these 80's inspired images use music as a main theme. Most of the imagery has a somewhat realistic look to it but slightly quirky and odd in its style which is what makes it so interesting and fun looking. Overall there is a wide range of styles of the 80's imagery that are different and unique in its own way, making them more individual and a lot of the 80's imagery i looked into which are shown above are very bold and strong through visuals and colour and the overall look.
