Yup! Steampunk

I decided to look into a few more steampunk related work just because i do really like the style of steampunk and the way its presented in a lot of work through posters, banners, ads, art work etc.

In this example above it has its main image focus of a woman wearing very steampunk styled clothing holding a gun. The tint as well as the textures give it that old era feeling, but a fresh modern feel to it with the illustration of the woman along with the composition with the typography and overall appearance.

The selection f images above are also steampunk themed however with these images they are given a fresh funky feel, with a range of bright, vivid colours that help to modernize the overall appearance without it being too far from the actual style of steampunk. The colours are mainly bright oranges, yellows and light browns to create a modern feel and to make it very bright and eye catching.

I really like the way this person made such an old era design and turned it into something modern and fresh but still sticking with the theme.

Now This image above also gives a very modern feel to steampunk, using very basic colours and just using the outlines from the illustration to portray colour as well as the typography which in san serif making it more up to date to everyone, including the younger audience.
