When developing my ideas I came to sketch out some ideas for logos and also mocked some of them up to see what looked better. I was unsure if i was going to use just text to represent the page or use imagery or graphics.
Above are a bunch of ideas i had with the text being the main concept for logo, but trying out different fonts and styles and ways of presenting the content. I experimented with old text i used in my ibook and simpler new text as well as experimenting with cracks and ribbon ideas to make it look more visually appealing.
I came to mock this up and i like the concept as i wanted something that was related to earthquakes, so i began develop this idea further into something more professional and complete.
I experimented with type and size as well as style and after creating more of a professional logo, i still felt something was missing, so i decided to frame it better with a circle ring. I felt that this framed the logo really well and gives a good impact to the overall appearance of the logo. I began experimenting further with this idea for the 'wonders of nature' type and style and below are a bunch of other styles i experimented with.
Out of all of these i really like the top left and bottom left designs the most and compliment the overall style of the logo really well, but i feel more confident with the top left as it puts focus on both 'earthquakes' and wonders of nature and it frames it a whole lot better.
